The Boring Warblers

We are the Boring Warblers, a group of keen birdwatchers of around the country. We had the pleasure of birding together both in Israel and abroad. Now we join again to compete for the important cause of protecting the amazing Steppe Eagles that Pass through our skies.

Meet the Team:

Chen Rozen

I’m 28 years old from Kfar Vitkin. I have been birdwatching since I was 12 and spent many hours in the field around my area. Over the years I had the pleasure of working at the International Birding and Research center in Eilat and as a guide for the Israeli Birding Center. The Beauty and complexity of nature and the birds among it never ceases to amaze me and make me understand the importance of protecting it in a fast changing world.

Galit Moshe

Hello, I’m Galit Moshe, I’m 42 years old, and I’m married with two children. I live in Golan Heights which is in the North of Israel.
Living in the Golan Heights gives me the opportunity to birdwatch an amazing and beautiful variety of habitats.
I like to birdwatch all over our awesome country! In 2009 I joined the Lior Kislev Birding class, and in the last few years it’s become a really big part of my daily life. Being out in nature grants me a relaxing feeling and it’s my most favorite place to spend my time.

JonJon Talmor

Hello! My name is JonJon Talmor and I’m 23 years old from Beit Herut in the Hefer Valley. I’ve been bird watching from the age of 8 when I decided to join the Birding club at my School, “A.D.A.M VESVIVA” in Kibbutz Gaash. Since then I’ve been fascinated by birds and the natural world. Today I hold a bird ringing C license and I’m working as a ringing assistant in the Hefer Valley Bird Research Station. I have also volunteered at ringing stations around the world and have participated extensively in the survey of soaring birds at Kafr Qasem in 2014.

Oree Efroni Naor

I’m 16 years old, and I live in Kibbutz Yakum.
I’ve been fortunate to find quite a few rare birds including Radde’s Accentor, Blyth’s Pipit and Kurdish Wheatear.
Birds have fascinated me since I was 9 years old, when I joined the birdwatching club in my elementary school: ADAM VE SVIVA in Kibbutz Ga’ash, were I learned that if you will be respectful to nature, the nature will respect you. My favorite bird is the Penduline Tit because it very active and vocal, just like me. The people who know me understand that ADHD is a big part of who I am, which gives me an advantage to be alert to every small bird.
See you in the race, and don’t worry, you will hear me…
